Just wanted to let everyone know that Gavin Spicer came into the world today (October 26th) at 5pm. He and Mum are doing well and Owen and I couldn’t be happier. Check out a few photos and as you can imagine there will be more to come.
With the holidays quickly approaching I wanted to give people a heads up in terms of deadlines to get your orders in if you would like your order completed by Christmas. In terms of prints the deadline is November 25th. In terms of albums the deadline is November 1st and you must approve your design by this date.
Many people may not fully understand our turnaround times so I thought a brief explanation may help
Proofs - Generally you will receive either a call or an e-mail within 4 weeks from your wedding date to arrange a time to pick up your proofs
Thank You Cards - If your thank you card is a traditional card the order will be completed within 2 weeks from the order date
Other Thank You Card Styles - these cards require designing and sending proofs to you for approval via e-mail. You will receive your e-mail proof within 2 weeks of the order and the cards will be ready within 2 weeks of your approving the layout.
Albums - Albums are extremely labour intensive and many require design work that you need to approve. This design work is e-mail to you within 4 weeks from the order and the final album will be ready within 8 weeks of the final approval. All our albums are sent to the States (there is delivery time for us) and to get the best possible quality we use studios who hand craft your album so the turnaround can seem long but the results are stunning.
Prints - Generally prints can be ready within 2 weeks of us receiving the order. If the print is a collage the design work will be sent to you within 2 weeks of the order and the prints will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks of your approving the final layout.
Online Gallery - I try my best to get featured weddings on my site as quick as possible but since this is a marketing tool for me and not a service I offer. I put shooting, designing and preparing clients orders first before I work on my site. I strive to produce the best possible photography and in order to do this the behind the scenes work is enormous but so worth it for you.
Engagement Shoots – Engagement Shoots are posted on the client login section approximately 4 weeks after the shoot.

Couples creating blogs about their lives leading up to their wedding is becoming really popular and Christine and Jeff have created a very cool one and worth checking out. This is a really nice couple so if you are interested in doing your own wedding blog I am sure they will answer your questions if you drop them a line.
Angela and I have been working like crazy getting all the wedding orders out but I wanted to stop for a second and share with you the memories DVD I created for Carrie and Terry. The images and music were selected by them and I couldn’t have done a better job myself. The nice thing to me about creating these DVDs is that I see my work come alive and can relive the days shoot again. Let me know what you think.
